Ever wanted to learn how to make cool interactive art devices?
Scott Amos and David Parfit of Monkey C Interactive will be leading a workshop on June 20 in creating simple interactive art through the use of an Arduino and accessories. This is an introductory class, but participants should be prepared to learn some basic coding. We will be using the computers at MediaNet, but if you have a mac laptop, please bring it along.
Only 5 spaces are available, so contact info@media-net.bc.ca to reserve your spot. Cost is $25, and you get your own Arduino!
Leading up to the workshop, see work by Monkey C Interactive at the Flux Media Art Gallery, starting June 16, with a reception 7pm June 18. See some of Scott and David’s work on their website:http://monkeycinteractive.com/
The Introduction to Arduino Workshop is made possible by the sponsorship of One Net Marketing and the support of artsVest.
